When You Wish Upon a Star…

I was in second grade when I chanted those words like magic before bedtime. I oftentimes ended with a wish of having a bike, getting a new book, or taking a trip to the beach. When the weather was bad and my father was not home from work yet, I always wished that he arrived safely. But then my incantation transformed into a prayer. My father was not a sheer wish. Don’t look now, but Eat Bulaga’s “kalye” series may have set a new Guinness World Record with 25.6 million tweets recorded.
Yes, Virginia, the big number of tweets could have surpassed the Super Bowl XLIX event in the United States with 25.1 million.
The hashtag #AlDubEBforLOVE reportedly drew in a total of 25,652,800 tweets from 12 a.m. to 11 p.m. on Sept. 26, according to online reports. Continue reading
